Littlehampton Beach 

The European Award Winning East Beach is only a stones throw from Harbour Park. It hosts a golden sandy beach, promanade and grass picnic area; it is regarded as the place to be on the South Coast in West Sussex.
Patrolled by lifeguards throughout the summer, this prestigious Blue Flag Award beach is safe, clean and colour zoned to keep families together.

Access to West Beach is just across the foot bridge from Littlehamton Town Centre. It is part of a Local Nature Reserve and is a site of Special Scientific Interest, which has national protection. As a result, it is a quieter beach, which includes sand flats, shingle and one of only three sand dune systems in West Sussex.

From the quaintest light house in England on East Beach, turn around and head north. There you will see magnificent views of the River Arun, Marina, and the South Downs National Park. This riverside walk is great for an afternoon family stroll! Along this path, the swans usually come and say hello, especially if your enjoying some form of snack :)
