East Beach Cafe

The East Beach Cafe sits right on the beach in Littlehampton, serving food every day, all year round and is open for lunch, dinner and weekend breakfasts. It has 60 seats inside, all with a great view of the sea, and 80 seats on decking outside with a take-away kiosk for those who prefer to eat on the beach.

Littlehampton Museum
Littlehampton Museum first opened in 1928. The Museum has a large collection and a very active programme of temporary exhibitions. The collection includes prehistoric and Roman archaeology, 19th and 20th Century artefacts, maritime history (ship models, equipment, paintings and photographs), 19th and 20th Century paintings, geological specimens, historic photographs and a great deal of general local history material.

Arundel Castle

Within easy reach of Littlehampton there are so many other attractions for all the family to enjoy. A visit to the historic town of Arundel with the magnificent Arundel Castle, Goodwood for Goodwood House, Glorious Goodwood and Goodwood Revival, Fontwell Racecourse, Chichester, the Cathedral and Roman City, the serene beauty of Chichester Harbour and the nature reserves, plus many wonderful villages and pubs scattered throughout the fantastic South Downs National Park, too numerous to mention.
Visit Look and Sea

The Look and Sea Centre is an interactive visitor’s centre, situated within the award winning east bank development of the River Arun. Its acclaimed viewing tower proudly overlooks the traditional maritime town of Littlehampton, West Sussex. All visitors have the chance to climb its 5-storey tower, which provides a spectacular 360° panoramic view of Littlehampton’s working Harbour, the Arun River and the South Downs.
The Heritage Exhibition

The Heritage Exhibition within the centre focuses on great educational values, which include the seaside’s development, wildlife and the long history of Littlehampton’s delightful harbour. These fit in nicely with core Key stage topics such as ‘Life processes and living things’, ‘chronological understanding’ and ‘knowledge and understanding of places’. The Ship to Sure Galley also offers great visual aids, puzzles and interesting tasks to complete. In sum, the Look and See Centre provides children an unrivaled hands-on learning experience of which, they are sure to remember!
RNLI Littlehampton
Visitors are welcome to Littlehampton Lifeboat station at anytime when it is attended, so during our Sunday morning exercise is probably best.
