GCSE / NVQ / A LEVEL STUDENTS
Harbour Park is where the fun never sets but we are also a business. Students have found a case study morning or afternoon at Harbour Park a great way of seeing how their studies are practically applied in the real buisness world. Harbour Park has featured on exam papers for leisure & tourism in the past and with materials available we could feature strongly in controlled assessments.
Case study days are hosted in conference style, as long as numbers allow, at Harbour Park and include a presentation by the operations director as well as qustion and answer session and a tour of the park focusing on the chalenges both to Harbour Park and the attractions industry. The day is focused upon removing students blinkers and seeing the industry behind the summer job. With forward planning the day can be tailored to suit a particuar module inside a ciriculum such as Human Resourses in Business or Finance in Lesiure and Tourism. These sessions cost £5 per student and are subject to minimum attendence level.
With timetables and risk assessment and transport issues we realise it can be easier for us to come to you. During term time it is possible to have the operations manager come to your college or school and deliver workshops or case studies. Again these can be tailored to suit your learning goals for a particualr module and still only cost £5 per student. Minimum numbers and drive time limits apply. These visits can be delivered to a much greater number of students thanks to the reduced logistical burden on teachers and staff.
