RIDE OPERATORS

Being part of the ride operations team is a rewarding but serious job.  Safety is our number 1 concern.  As required, you will be expected to operate a variety of rides and attractions in a professional and sensible manner.  

The advertised role is seasonal and is for spring/summer.  Applicants must comply with the Children's Act and be at least 16 years of age due to health and safety reasons.

Successful applicants will be polite, friendly, sensible and able to work well as part of a team when under pressure.  Previous customer service experience is preferable but not essential. Training will be given.

Duties include;  following training on a variety of ride operations, which requires good verbal communication and sensible behaviour.  You will be required to serve customers not only on rides but around the park.  Operating rides, upholding health and safety standards and maintaining cleanliness of the park and its attractions are all part of the role. 

Hours can vary but are normally between 10-30 hours per week. Hours increase as the season progresses. Working 6 days a week in peak season, including weekends and bank holidays. Pay exceeds minimum wage.  Company uniform and staff discounts are provided.
