Harbour Park is accessible for people who are physically challenged, including those who require a wheelchair.

The Park is on one level (excl Crazy Golf), and our toilets are specially built with wheelchair access in mind. The toilets are situated in the Main Fun Park Building Arcade and in the Harbour Village Building.

As to what ‘skills’ and abilities are needed to use our rides; we encourage our staff to discuss with the guest and their carer whether they are able to use those skills to ride. However, Harbour Park will follow the Manufacturer's requirements regarding use of all rides.

Many of our attractions are suitable for persons with physical or mental challenges. Some attractions however will require a carer to accompany any person with needs.

The nature of jumping attractions such as the soft play area, trampolines and the inflatable, and the state of excitement of young guests mean that wheelchairs or pushchairs are not allowed onto these facilities. 

Both the Giant Slide and Sharkesville Adventure Golf are unattainable to wheelchairs and pushchairs. Assessments showed that the steepness of the stairs made access ramps impractical.

Rides that operate at height (Water Chute & Caterpillar Coaster) require all riders to be able to walk unaided up the stairs to the loading platform. This is a requirement set out by ride manufacturers for evacuation purposes. Most other rides can be enjoyed by persons with needs if they are able with assistance to vacate their chair and access the ride.
